On Monday (4), FERJ released the table and regulations for the Copa Rio Feminina Sub-17. The competition will begin on September 16 (Saturday) and will be in a round-robin format, with a first and second leg. Given the scenario, Mais Querido will face America, Bangu and Rio de Janeiro in the search for the unprecedented title.

With the backbone of the team that competed in the U-16 Development League and the U-17 NP Cup in the first half of the year retained, Flamengo has been working hard at CEFAN with training sessions, practice matches, and friendlies. All of this under the command of Filipe Torres, formerly an assistant coach. In a brief interview, the coach stated that the focus is on putting the Rubro-Negro at the top.

"We gained competitive experience in both competitions in the first half of the year, and now a long-awaited moment has arrived for us, as we seek the Copa Rio title. We are confident that we are giving our best every day to ensure the team is 100% prepared to represent Flamengo the way the nation expects. We are highly motivated and aware of the responsibility. We want to create a beautiful story and lift the trophy," said Filipe.
