On Thursday afternoon (24), the CBF released the complete table for the Brazilian Women's Championship, which will begin on the first weekend of March. In the opening round, Flamengo will host São Paulo, on Monday (7), at 20 pm, at the Luso-Brasileiro Stadium. This will be the club's eighth participation in the competition.

Format

The tournament format remains the same as in 2021. All 16 clubs face each other in a single round, with the top eight advancing. The knockout stage will feature home-and-away matches.

A break is scheduled for July due to the Copa América. Therefore, the final stretch of the first phase and the decisive stage will be played starting in August.

Mengão will face the following teams: Atlético Mineiro, Avaí, Corinthians, Cresspom-DF, Cruzeiro, ESMAC-PA, Ferroviária, Grêmio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Real Brasilia, Red Bull Bragantino, Santos, São José and São Paulo.
