On the evening of last Thursday (2), the CBF released the basic table of the Brazilian Women's Championship, which will start on the last day of the month. In the opening round, Flamengo will face Santos, away from home, with a date to be defined. This will be the club's ninth participation in the national competition. 

Format

The tournament format remains the same as in 2022. All 16 clubs face each other in a single round, with the top eight advancing. The knockout stage will feature home-and-away matches.

A break is scheduled for July and August due to the World Cup. Therefore, the semifinals and final will not be played until after August 26th.

Participants

Mengão will face Atlético Mineiro, Athletico-PR, Avaí Kindermann, Bahia, Ceara, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Ferroviária, Grêmio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Real Ariquemes-RO, Real Brasilia, Santos and São Paulo.
