Flamengo wins the second Rio de Janeiro women's football championship
Rubro-Negro beats Vasco 1-0 and secures the category title

Already qualified and with a reserve team, Mengão had lost to their rival in the last round of the first phase by 3-2. This time, with the title at stake, Mengão entered the field with full strength, played better and beat their opponent by 1-0.
In the 13th minute of the second half, Danizinha crossed to Bárbara, who simply tapped it into the net and scored the winning goal. Despite the pressure from their rivals in the final minutes, the red-and-black defense held firm and secured the second championship. This is the Mais Querido's second title of the year. In May, the girls from Mais Querido won the Brazilian Championship, in a duel against Rio Preto.
