In the final stretch of the Campeonato Carioca Feminino, Flamengo signed six new players to join the main team: Amanda, Andressinha, Danúbia, Lorrana, Mari and Mila. The new Meninas da Gávea already played last Sunday, against Portuguesa, and are fully incorporated into the squad that already includes athletes from the Navy. 

"We are very happy to take this important step in the club's women's soccer. We know the importance of having a strong squad and want to continue investing in the sport. We have U-18 athletes playing in the adult category at this stage of the Carioca, and now we have brought in six more to join the professional team. Our focus is on winning the competition for the fifth time, and we will work to make that happen," said Vitor Zanelli, Vice President of Youth Soccer.
