Flamengo and Fluminense draw 0-0 in the first leg of the Carioca Women's Championship final.
Flamengo improved in the second half, but couldn't secure the victory; the return match will be at Luso Brasileiro.

On Friday night (14), in a match held at the Moça Bonita Stadium, in Bangu, Flamengo drew 0-0 with Fluminense in the first leg of the Carioca Women's Championship final. Now, the teams will face each other again next week, at Luso Brasileiro. Whoever wins, lifts the trophy.
The game
In the opening minutes, Flamengo pressured their opponent in their own half and created good opportunities with Duda Rodrigues, but without success. As time went on, Fluminense balanced the game and it became quite tight. In a breakaway by Kamilla, Vivi Holzel made a great save – her only one during the 90 minutes – and prevented a goal. Before halftime, Glaucia tried a long-range shot, Claudia made the save, and the score remained tied.
Upon returning to the field, Flamengo improved their performance and played almost exclusively on the attack. In a good move by Duda Rodrigues, Jucinara headed firmly and almost opened the scoring. Immediately afterwards, the left-back entered the area and was tackled just as she was about to shoot. The good form of the team managed by Celso Silva continued, and after the water break and some substitutions, Cristiane received the ball in the area, deflected it, and the ball went just wide.
The final stretch was dominated by the Flamengo women's team, who tried again with Jucinara on a set piece, but the defense managed to clear it almost on the goal line. Despite these attempts, the match ended 0-0.

Mengão returns to the field on Friday (21), against the same Fluminense, at 21 pm, for the second leg of the final.
