On Sunday morning (17), Flamengo lost to Fluminense 2-0, at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium, in a game valid for the U-20 Women's Carioca Championship. Even with the defeat, Rubro-Negro remained in first place in group B.
The game
The match began with Mais Querido imposing its rhythm and creating chances until, in the 17th minute, the referee sent off goalkeeper Condorelli. Faced with this adverse scenario, the Meninas da Gávea tried to maintain their momentum, but conceded a goal late in the first half and went into the break trailing.
Upon returning, the team pressed and conceded a few counterattacks, but Sarah came out on top. After the break, the match became a tight and choppy affair, with few chances flowing. Filipe Torres' changes launched the team into attack—but to no avail. In the 31st minute, Adrielly came on alone and scored the opponents' second goal, making it 2-0.
Next appointment
Mengão returns to the field on Thursday (21), to face Corinthians, at 18 pm, at Luso Brasileiro, for the second leg of the semi-final of the Brasileirão Feminino Sub-20.

Condorelli; Camila (Duda Detori), Cecilia, Sofia and Isa Kotait; Dudinha, Leticia Pinho (Campos) and Anna Luiza (Laís); Ana Papel (Nina Garrit), Maria Fernanda (Sarah) and Alice (Jamile).
