Flamengo went to Jundiaí this Friday (15) to face Palmeiras in the 1st round of the Brazilian Women's Championship and lost 3-2. Darlene and Cristiane scored for the team. After the match, the Meninas Da Gávea return to Rio de Janeiro, where they will face Cruzeiro, on Tuesday (19), at Luso Brasileiro.


The game

The first half was very studied and with few chances on goal, until Duda, in the 28th minute, controlled the ball well, led the way and managed to connect a beautiful pass to Gisseli, who crossed to Cristiane, but the goalkeeper intercepted.

Soon after, Darlene received a beautiful pass from the defense and crossed toward Cristiane, but the defense cleared it to the baseline. From the corner, our number 7 crossed to captain Daiane, who headed the ball into the bottom corner of the opposing goal. In the 40th minute, Palmeiras opened the scoring. At the end of the first half, the opposing defense failed, Darlene intercepted the ball and set it up for Cristiane to shoot at goal, but the goalkeeper saved it.

Flamengo started the second half strong, with Darlene making a good run down the right and tying the match with the first play. Crivelari nearly turned the game around for Mengão: the number 19 received a beautiful pass from Cristiane, but shot into the corner of the goal. In the seventh minute, Palmeiras scored their second goal.

In the 16th minute, Darlene took a free kick to Duda, who shot, but her opponent saved it. Shortly after, Crivelari received a ball in front of goal, but Amanda saved it.

The Meninas da Gávea equalized again after Jucinara received a long ball on the left and crossed for Darlene to set up Cristiane for the second goal. Palmeiras took the lead again in the 28th minute, with Amanda Gutierres, and the match ended that way.


Next appointment
The girls will face Cruzeiro in the next round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Tuesday (19), at Luso Brasileiro.
