The game

The match began with both teams scrutinizing each other, but Flamengo soon took the initiative and created two consecutive chances through Alice. The number 9 hit the post first and then forced a great save from the opposing goalkeeper. In the 29th minute, Maria Fernanda made a great play and passed to Laís to almost open the scoring. In the final act, Duda Detori lifted the ball into the box, the defense rebounded, and Dudinha shot wide. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

In the second half, in the 8th minute, Ana Papel took a long-range shot, chipping it over Isadora. A stunning goal, and it was 1-0 for the Meninas da Gávea in the derby. Two minutes later, Papel had a good chance and narrowly missed extending the lead. After the goal, Botafogo created a dangerous situation, and Camila cleared it off the line. In the 36th minute, Ana Papel took a perfect free kick, Cecília deflected it, and the ball went just wide of the post. In the final play, Tailane pounced on the rebound and tied the derby: 1-1. With this result, both teams advanced to the semifinals of the tournament.
