On Saturday morning (1), in a very disputed match, Flamengo drew with Fluminense 2-2 in the Copa Rio Feminina. The red-black goals were scored by Fernanda and Djeni.
The game
The match started fairly evenly. Playing at home, Flamengo tried to create a few chances but ran into the opposition's defensive defense. In the 28th minute, Djeni's shot from long range hit the crossbar. Despite Flamengo's slight dominance, Fluminense opened the scoring with Lelê two minutes later. In the 39th minute, Jucinara's free kick was headed in by Núbia, who nearly equalized. Despite their efforts, Maurício Salgado's team went into halftime trailing 1-0.
In the second half, Fluminense came back pressing hard and created good chances through Laysa. The equalizer came in the 20th minute: Glaucia took a corner, the defense tried to clear, and Fernanda took advantage to score her first goal for the Manto. In the 33rd minute, Fluminense took the lead again with a goal from Torre. In the final stretch, the Meninas da Gávea dominated, hitting the crossbar with Chai, and never gave up. In the 49th minute, as the clock was dying, Monalisa lifted the ball into the box, Leidiane attempted a header, and Djeni leveled the score once again: 2-2 and the end of the game.
