Flamengo draws 1-1 with Internacional and ends its participation in the Brasileirão Women's Championship

In the second leg of the Brasileirão Feminino quarterfinals, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Internacional on Monday afternoon (22), at Beira Rio. Striker Sole Jaimes scored the red-black goal in the match. With the result, the Meninas da Gávea end their participation in the championship.
The game
Needing a two-goal victory, the Meninas da Gávea started the match by taking the initiative, exchanging passes in the attacking half. In the 13th minute, Monalisa crossed into the box and Duda headed wide.
Mengão, the better team in the match, opened the scoring at Beira Rio. Jucinara crossed the ball into the box, and Sole Jaimes finished it off: 0-1. Flamengo continued to pressure Inter and created a great chance in the 22nd minute. Crivelari burst into the box from the right and struck hard. Goalkeeper Mayara made a good save, preventing the second goal for Flamengo. Flamengo ended the first half ahead.
After the break, Flamengo continued with the same approach, attacking Inter in search of a second goal. But Internacional scored, with Sorriso in the 15th minute, making it 1-1. After the equalizer, the red-and-black team tried to respond quickly and nearly scored a second through Crivelari, who risked a cross-shot that went just wide of the post.
The Meninas da Gávea fought for the result until the end, but the match ended in a draw. Having lost 3-1 in the first leg of the Luso-Brasileiro, Flamengo ended its participation in the championship.
