The game
Facing intense heat, the red-and-black team began the match by taking the initiative. In the fifth minute, Isadora crossed, and Crivelari nearly opened the scoring with a beautiful header. Then, with a good attacking combination, the defense cleared the ball before the ball reached the feet of midfielder Duda. In the 25th minute, Madrid CFF opened the scoring with a free kick from Karen. Even trailing, the Meninas da Gávea were undaunted, maintaining the same strategy, and snatched the equalizer in stoppage time. Cris pressured the opponent's ball out, dispossessed, and beat the goalkeeper: 1-1 going into halftime.
In the second half, the game was tight, with few opportunities. Remaining solid defensively thanks to Thais Regina's excellent performance, the team created a dangerous shot with Laysa's shot. Despite playing solely on the attack throughout the final stretch, Mengão was unable to change the score and the score ended level.
