On Saturday morning (15), in a disputed duel, Flamengo drew with Vasco 1-1 in the debut of the Copa Rio Feminina. The red-black goal was scored by midfielder Djeni, in the first half. In the next round, the Meninas da Gávea face Botafogo.

The game
The red-and-black team started the match pressing strongly and creating good opportunities. In the fourth minute, Glaucia crossed and Leidiane hit the crossbar. Then, Djeni forced the opposing goalkeeper into a great save. In the eighth minute, the captain appeared again, hit a beautiful shot from outside the box, and opened the scoring with a stunning goal. After that, Maurício Salgado's team controlled the game and went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

On the return leg, Vasco equalized in the third minute through Ju Santos, and the game was evenly matched. Jucinara's introduction improved Vasco's attacking prowess, and they began to pose significant threats from set pieces. Glaucia headed the ball against the crossbar. In the intense heat, the Meninas da Gávea attempted a second goal but were unable to find the net, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
