On Sunday afternoon (31), Flamengo drew with Vasco 1-1 in the seventh round of the Taça Guanabara, at CT do Artsul. The girls remain undefeated in the Campeonato Carioca Feminino, with six wins and one draw in seven matches.

The game
The Meninas da Gávea started the game with possession, but without creating any dangerous plays. Four minutes in, goalkeeper Kaká made a mistake when clearing the ball, and Vasco opened the scoring: 1-0.

Flamengo then went in search of an equalizer. Just six minutes in, Jayanne delivered a beautiful through ball to Darlene, who received the ball at the edge of the box and beat the defender, but when it came time to finish, the referee flagged the play for offside.

From a corner kick on the right, Sorriso lifted the ball into the area, after the opposing defense cut, Cida headed it back into danger and Pimenta completed, but the ball was too weak.

In the 13th minute, after a beautiful one-two in midfield, Sorriso found Darlene on a through ball, and the Mengão star made no mistake. The tie was a 1-1 draw for the most beloved team. With this goal, Darlene reached 9 in the competition, moving into second place in the team's scoring charts alongside Dani Ortolan.

After the technical timeout, Flamengo continued to dominate. In the 26th minute, after a throw-in from the right, Rafa Barros lifted the ball into the box and nearly caught the opposing goalkeeper off guard. Pimenta fired in a shot on the rebound, forcing another save from Vasco. It was almost a comeback.

In the final stretch of the first half, Mais Querido sought to turn the tables, but the chances with Rayanne's free kick, which went very dangerously wide, and the cross from the right that just missed Pimenta, did not result in a goal.

Pimenta tried one last time, invading the area from the left, but the defense cut off the attempted cross.

In the second half, the girls came back strong. In the fourth minute, Kaylane crossed from the right, the defense cleared, and Sorriso hit a bicycle kick. The ball flew past, a goal that would have been a stunning goal. On the left, Darlene looked for Pimenta in the six-yard box, but the red-and-black forward was blocked before she could finish.

In the 10th minute, Pimentinha was released into the box, the red-and-black forward put it in front and was tackled, resulting in a penalty being awarded. Darlene's shot hit the crossbar.

In the 20th minute, Darlene received a throw-in and crossed into the box, but Pimentinha narrowly missed the goal. Flamengo was under pressure.

After the technical timeout, from a free kick in the middle, Darlene hit it with great danger.

At 41, Kaylanne made a play on the right and served Darlene at the edge of the area, who finished low into the corner, on the rebound, Dani Ortolan shot at the post, but the referee signaled offside.

Late in the match, Dani Ortolan was racing toward goal when he was fouled. The referee ruled it was outside the box. Dani's shot, however, was dangerous, but the Vasco goalkeeper saved it, but she didn't rebound.

Flamengo still tried in the final play. Núbia controlled the ball after a corner kick, blocked it, and shot wide. After the shot, the referee blew the final whistle. The teams then took penalties in search of an additional point.

In the penalties, Vasco won 4x3.

The Girls from Gávea return to the field next Wednesday (3), to face Botafogo, in Gávea, at 10 am, for the eighth round of the Guanabara Cup.
