Continuing the game that started yesterday and was halted due to heavy rain at the Ademir Cunha stadium in Paulista (PE), Flamengo took to the field this Monday (15) for the final stage of the match against Vitória-BA. Despite the initial pressure, the red-blacks managed to impose themselves, but suffered a 2-2 draw in the last play. The goals were scored by Thalita and Maria Peck.

With the result, Fla adds its first point in Group E of the competition. The Meninas da Gávea will not have a break, as the next match will be this Tuesday (16), at 20:15 pm, against Vitória-PE at Barbosão Stadium, in Chã Grande (PE).

The game
Vitória started the match better, creating a good chance in the first minute. However, goalkeeper Marcela was alert and made a great save. After the initial pressure, Flamengo began to come out more and established their rhythm, evening the match.

Making two consecutive changes, coach Marcos Gaspar sought to change the style of play to give the Mais Querido a new look. This allowed the red-and-blacks to attack more often, threatening the defense and goalkeeper Bianca.

In the 30th minute, Tuane made another great play and found Maria Peck alone in the box. The number 10 received the ball and shot into the back of the net, making it 2-1. Despite the Bahian team's attempts, which were met by great saves from Marcela and the defense, Flamengo held strong and continued to press, coming close to extending their lead.

In the final play of the match, Mengo committed a foul in the box and the referee awarded a penalty to Vitória, which was subsequently converted. The final score was 2-2.
