In the eighth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Flamengo drew with Real Brasília 1-1 on Monday afternoon (17), at the Defelê-DF Stadium. Mengão's goal was scored by Cida. With the result, the Meninas da Gávea reached ten points and occupy ninth place in the championship.

The game
Flamengo started the match by pushing up their defense, pressuring Real Brasília's attacking play. Six minutes in, Ana Carla won the ball back in midfield and took a shot. The ball went just wide of the crossbar.

In the 23rd minute, Real Brasília opened the scoring with Gadu, making it 1-0. Shortly thereafter, in the 34th minute, Mengão equalized. Sorriso took a free kick into the box, and Cida deflected it into the net, making it 1-1. In the final minutes, Ana Carla stepped up to the baseline and sent a low cross into the box. Dani Ortolan arrived, but the ball sailed just wide of the post. The first half ended level.

The Gávea Girls returned for the second half, attacking the Brasilia team in search of a comeback. The red-and-black team was attacking the flanks well, but struggled to penetrate the opponent's box. In the 33rd minute, Rafa Barros received a free kick inside the box, and the goalkeeper saved.

In the 41st minute, Rafa Barros controlled the ball and struck hard from outside the box. The ball went very close to the goal. The Mais Querido (Most Beloved) pursued the winning goal until the end, but the match ended in a draw.

In the next round, which takes place on Saturday (22), the Meninas da Gávea face Grêmio, at 15 pm, at CT Hélio Dourado, in Eldorado do Sul-RS.
