It's Women's Brazil Cup day for the Girls of Gávea! After a month of intense preparation at CFZ and CT das Vargens, Mengão will face São Paulo, this Wednesday night (17), at 18 pm, at Morumbis. As the entire competition is played in a single game format, whoever wins today qualifies for the quarterfinals. SporTV will broadcast the match live.
The red-black delegation arrived in the capital of São Paulo on Monday night (15). Yesterday, in the afternoon, the athletes went to the gym and did an activity with physical trainer Romário Oliveira. One of the team's big names this season, attacking midfielder Glaucia planned the duel and reinforced the focus on getting all the details right.
"It will be a tough game, but we're prepared. In knockout matches, we need to minimize any mistakes, and we're fully aware of that. We've had good weeks of training, and now we have to put into practice everything Rosana taught us throughout this period. We came here to impose our pace from the start of the game, and we want to leave here with a spot in the next round," she emphasized.
