Flamengo faces Botafogo away from home in the Women's Under-18 Carioca Championship
The classic will be played at CEFAT, in Niterói, at 11 am

On Sunday morning (06), Flamengo will go to CEFAT to face Botafogo, at 11 am, for the second round of the competition. Isolated in the lead of group A, the Meninas da Gávea need a simple victory to guarantee a place in the second phase.
The Mais Querido's record this year is seven wins, one draw, and two losses. In the last game, the team defeated Duque de Caxias without any problems, 6-0, with goals from Maria Peck (2), Thalita (2), Juliana, and Yasmin.
Marcos Gaspar gave his opinion on the clash and indicated the path the team needs to follow to triumph:
"Every match between Flamengo and Botafogo is a classic, regardless of the sport. There's no favoritism. I expect a strong performance from the team and a relentless pursuit of a positive result. We'll fight hard and dedicate ourselves to achieving victory."
Dispute format
Eight teams are divided into two groups, with the top two advancing to the semifinal stage, a home-and-away match. Those who qualify advance to the final, a date yet to be set.
