Flamengo debuts in the Women's Under-18 State Championship against Fluminense in Gávea

The wait is over and it's time for Mengão to compete in the U-18 Carioca Championship for the second time in history! On Wednesday morning (17), Rubro-Negro will face Fluminense, at 10 am, in Gávea, in the opening round. The match will be broadcast live on FlaTV.
In Group A of the competition, Mais Querido will also face CESC Heips, Duque de Caxias, and Serra Macaense in the first phase. This is the fourth match of the season for the team led by Sergio Carnevale (who has won the Brazilian Championship twice and the Nike Premier Cup U-17 previously), and their focus is entirely on winning the title. This was confirmed by left-back Diovanna, a member of the main squad, who will be playing in the squad.
"We've prepared a lot for this moment, and we're very united. We know the responsibility of wearing the Sacred Mantle, especially in such an important tournament, but we have our goals clearly defined. We'll start our journey at home, and we want to be champions," she said confidently.
Dispute format
The clubs are divided into two groups, and the top two from each group advance to the semifinal stage, which will be played in a single match. The final will follow the same format.
