In the ninth round of the Carioca Feminino, Flamengo thrashed Bangu 4-0 on Saturday morning (6), at CEFAN, in another great collective performance. The goals for the red-black team were scored by Jayanne, Carlinha, Cida and Dani Ortolan. With the result, Mais Querido provisionally took the lead in the Taça Guanabara with 25 points.

The game
With a significantly changed lineup, Flamengo began the match valuing possession in attack. Five minutes in, Flamengo created a threat for the first time in two opportunities. Pimenta and Jayanne hit the crossbar in successive attempts.

The Meninas da Gávea pressed their opponents in search of the first goal. Bangu, on the other hand, closed up and tried to counterattack. In the 20th minute, Pimentinha provided a beautiful pass to Carlinha, who burst into the box and fired a shot. The ball flew just wide of the post. In the 26th minute, Mengão opened the scoring with a penalty kick from Jayanne: 1-0.

In the 37th minute, Flamengo extended their lead! Andressa took a shot from outside the box, Carlinha dove on the ball, and it deflected into the back of the net: 2-0. With complete control of the match, Flamengo went into halftime with the lead.

In the second half, the Meninas da Gávea didn't let up and continued to pressure Bangu, who struggled to break out of their own half. It didn't take long for Mengão to score the third. After a corner kick in the eighth minute, Andressa set up Cida, who finished first time to make it 3-0.

In the final stretch, coach Celso Silva made several changes and gave the team some rotation, which continued to hold more possession than its opponent. In the 47th minute, Dani Ortolan's shot from outside the box deflected off the defense and into the bottom left corner, giving the final score: 4-0 Flamengo.

Next appointment
The Most Beloved returns to the field next Wednesday (10) to face the classic against Fluminense, at 10 am, in Gávea, for the 10th round of the Carioca Feminino.
