In the second round of the Brasil Ladies Cup, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Santos, on Wednesday afternoon (6), at the Bruno José Daniel stadium, in Santo André-SP. Laysa scored the goal that made it all equal on the scoreboard. Rubro-Negro added four points in Group B.

The game
The match started evenly, with both teams alternating possession. Santos opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a Ketlen header: 1-0.

At a disadvantage, the Meninas da Gávea went on the attack. In the 16th minute, after a ball was lofted into the box, Monalisa headed the ball, but the goalkeeper saved it. The red-and-black team was attacking more frequently. The first half ended with Santos ahead.

In the second half, the red-and-black team continued to attack, but lacked the final pass. In the seventh minute, Crivelari outpaced the defender and found herself face-to-face with the goalkeeper. But Anna Beatriz made the save.

In the 31st minute, Mengão leveled the score! Darlene received the ball on the right, crossed low into the box, the ball went past Crivelari, but Laysa made no mistake and pushed it into the net: 1-1.

In stoppage time, Gisseli took a free kick from the edge of the box and forced the goalkeeper to palm it away. The match ended in Santo André with a draw.

Next appointment
The Meninas da Gávea return to the field next Friday (8) to face Paraguay, at 21:30 pm, at the Bruno José Daniel stadium, in the last round of the group stage of the Brasil Ladies Cup.
