In the second round of the Women's Under-20 Carioca, Flamengo thrashed Americano 10-0, on Saturday afternoon (31), in Gávea. The red-black goals were scored by Mariana, Brendha (3), Raissa Rocha, Letícia (3), Bruna and Ana Papel. With the result, the Girls from Gávea continue with 100% success in the competition.

The game
The match had barely begun when the Meninas da Gávea opened the scoring just two minutes in. Bruna crossed into the box and Mariana headed it in: 1-0. The second goal came four minutes in, with Brendha dispossessing the defender and running into the box alone to beat the goalkeeper to make it 2-0.

Flamengo continued to attack and extended their lead in the 6th minute. Letícia crossed into the box and Raissa Rocha struck first time to score the third goal for Flamengo: 3-0. Even with a good lead in the opening minutes, the Meninas da Gávea continued to pressure Americano, and scored the fourth in the 10th minute. Mariana made a good play, Raissa Rocha let the ball go through the screen and Letícia arrived with a powerful shot: 4-0.

The fifth goal came from the penalty spot. Letícia took it skillfully and scored her second of the match: 5-0. Don't miss the chance! Brendha took advantage of a defensive lapse and slotted a shot into the corner to score the sixth.

A minute later, Mengão scored the seventh with Bruna, who took a shot from a long way out and the ball went in: 7-0. At 25', Brendha also shot from a long way out and scored the eighth goal of the match, her third: 8-0. The first half ended with a wide advantage for the red-blacks.

Early in the second half, Mais Querido scored the ninth. Mariana ran down the right, took the ball to the baseline, and crossed perfectly for Letícia to hit first time, making it 9-0, her hat trick of the match.

Americano returned for the second half with a tighter defense, making it difficult for Flamengo to attack. In the 36th minute, Ana Papel broke through the middle, shot from the edge of the box, and the ball went into the goalkeeper's right corner: 10-0.

The game ends in Gávea with another rout. The Gávea Girls continue with a 100% record and a positive goal difference of 21 goals in just two rounds of the championship.
