The game
Flamengo started the match by taking the initiative and valuing possession. Dominating the action, the Meninas da Gávea (Girls from Gávea) attacked more frequently, but struggled to break through Botafogo-PB's defense. In the 18th minute, Mengão opened the scoring with a stunning goal! Mariana received the ball in the box and fired a well-placed shot, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance: 1-0.

Three minutes later, Botafogo's defense played the ball wrong, the ball fell to Ingrid in the area and the number 9 shot low past the goalkeeper to score the second goal for the red-blacks: 2-0.

In the 23rd minute, Mengão scored the third through Bruna. The full-back received the ball on the right side of the box and fired a low shot between the post and the goalkeeper. A devastating start for the Meninas da Gávea! In the final minutes of the first half, Flamengo was awarded a penalty. Ingrid slotted it into the right corner of the goal to score Flamengo's fourth goal before halftime.

Coach Filipe Torres made two substitutions at halftime. Cerqueira came off for Nicoli, and Ana Papel replaced Anna Luiza. Four minutes in, Mengão extended their lead. Kaylane Vieira received a good pass, entered the box, and fired a shot into the goalkeeper's left corner: 5-0.

In the ninth minute, Barraca capitalized on a free kick in the box and scored the sixth goal for the red-and-blacks with a header. With the game already settled, Filipe Torres made more substitutions to give the squad some rotation.
