In a fifth-round match of the Brasileirão U-18 at the Sorocaba Training Center, the Meninas da Gávea (Girls from Gávea) repeated the legendary 1981 team's score, winning the derby against Botafogo 6-0! The rout virtually guaranteed the team a spot in the next stage of the competition, a goal set back in Rio de Janeiro. Naely, Tuane, Maria Peck, Mariana Fernandes, Ju Lopes, and Kaylane scored the goals.

Flamengo, overwhelming, opened the scoring in the first minute with a free kick from midfielder Naely. In the fourth minute, Maria Peck delivered a beautiful pass to Tuane, who beat the ball and chipped it in with a stunning lob: 2-0. And it didn't stop there.
