On Saturday afternoon (3), Mengão won another match valid for the Guanabara Cup of the U-17 Women's Carioca Championship and remained in isolated leadership. At CEFAN, the team led by Sergio Carnevale thrashed Barcelona 4-0, with goals from Alice, Dudinha, Lays do Carmo and Tamara. 

The game

Despite playing a completely different formation than usual, the Mais Querido (Team of the Match) started the match on top of their opponents and soon opened the scoring. Six minutes in, Luiza took a corner kick, Fabiane challenged the defense, and the ball fell to debutant Alice, who found the net. After the goal, the team managed their lead, creating several more chances, but couldn't extend their lead before halftime.

In the second half, a few changes were made, and the second goal came in the eleventh minute. One of the best players on the pitch, Dudinha received a good pass and fired a cross from outside the box. In the 29th minute, Lays do Carmo, another excellent performer, surprised the goalkeeper with a diagonal shot: 3-0. As the clock ran out, Tamara was brought down in the box, made no mistake, and made the final score: 4-0.
