Flamengo thrashes Botafogo-PB 4-0 in the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship

In the opening leg of the second leg of the first phase of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship, Flamengo won again. Playing away from home, at Almeidão, the Rubro-Negro thrashed Botafogo-PB 4-0 and reached 18 points. Pimenta (2), Laysa and Lorena scored the goals. 


The game


In the first half, despite having more possession and dominating the action, Celso Silva's team failed to open the scoring. Pimenta had two chances, but was stopped by the goalkeeper, and the score remained tied until halftime. 


In the second half, just two minutes in, Lorena headed the ball into the middle of the box, and Pimenta opened the scoring. In the 23rd minute, Ingrid Santos passed to Laysa, who hit a beautiful shot to double the lead. In the 34th minute, Louvain took a free kick, and Lorena rose above everyone: 3-0. In stoppage time, Mariana Fernandes broke through the middle and delivered a good pass to Duda Rodrigues. The number 18 burst into the box and passed to Pimenta to complete the away rout: 4-0.
