In the fifth round of the Guanabara Under-18 Women's Cup, Flamengo thrashed Duque de Caxias 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon (1), at CEFAN. The Rubro-Negro's goals were scored by Duda Rodrigues (2), Suzy (own goal). With the result, the Meninas da Gávea qualified in first place for the Carioca semifinal.

The game
Flamengo started the match with more possession, dominating the attacking half. Duque de Caxias closed up the defense, making things difficult. In the 22nd minute, Duda Rodrigues sped down the left, burst into the box, and shot past the goalkeeper. The ball hit the post. The Meninas da Gávea continued to press their opponents in search of the first goal. The first half ended with Flamengo dominating the game, but the score was still XNUMX-XNUMX.

Mengão opened the scoring nine minutes into the second half. Duda Rodrigues took a corner kick from the left, the ball went past everyone and straight in. An Olympic goal at CEFAN: 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Mengão scored their second goal of the match. In the 34th minute, Mengão scored their third with an own goal. Mariana Fernandes launched a ball into the box, and Suzy headed it into her own net: 3-0.

In stoppage time, Flamengo extended their lead even further. Ana Laura crossed into the box and Mariana Fernandes headed the ball into the back of the net, completing the red-and-black rout: 4-0.
