Flamengo thrashed Litoral Norte-BA 5-0 in their opening match of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship.
With goals from Dudinha, Maria Fernanda, Isabela Nunes and Alice (2), Rubro-Negro earns its first points in the competition.

In the opening of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship, Flamengo showed no mercy to Litoral Norte and achieved an excellent result. In a match held at the Pituaçu Stadium on the afternoon of this Sunday (8) - International Women's Day -, the Mais Querido thrashed the Bahia team 5-0 and has already taken the lead in the group. Dudinha, Maria Fernanda, Isabela Nunes and Alice (2) scored the goals.
The game
Flamengo started the match in their best style, imposing their rhythm and creating excellent opportunities. Just 4 minutes in, Leane received a pass from Isabela Nunes and hit the crossbar. On the rebound, Nina Garrit set it up and Dudinha lobbed the goalkeeper: 1-0. Two minutes later, Isabela Nunes took a corner kick and the ball grazed the post.
The lead didn't make Flamengo complacent, and new chances were created. In the 34th minute, Campos crossed into the box and Ana Papel headed the ball into the net, but the referee signaled offside. In the 39th minute, Papel took a corner kick that Maria Fernanda headed in: 2-0. Before halftime, the team managed by Filipe Torres even created some dangerous opportunities, but the score remained unchanged.
In the second half, at 5 minutes, Maria Fernanda shot from the edge of the area and the opposing goalkeeper made a great save. Following that, Ana Papel tried a long-range shot that narrowly missed. At 13 minutes, Isabela Nunes received a pass from Dudinha and placed a shot with skill: 3-0. At 34 minutes, Yasmim Cardozo caused trouble for the defense and was brought down in the area. Alice took the penalty and scored the fourth. From the kickoff, Yasmim crossed, Agatha headed the ball on, and Alice simply had to push it into the back of the net: 5-0. After the fifth goal, the team managed the game and secured their first three points in the tournament.
