In an impeccable and absolute way, Flamengo achieved a great victory in the Brazilian Women's Championship on Friday night (20). Playing at home, the Rubro-Negro thrashed Red Bull Bragantino 4-2, with goals from Núbia, Jucinara, Layza Cavalcanti and Cristiane - who completed one hundred games in the competition -, reached six points and maintained their unbeaten record.

The game

With an aggressive and very offensive approach, Flamengo dominated the match without any scares and didn't take long to open the scoring. In the 3rd minute, Jucinara crossed into the area, the defense parried the ball, and Núbia appeared unmarked to put it into the net. The goal gave more confidence to the Flamengo women's team, who continued playing in the opponent's half and extended their lead in the 21st minute. In another aerial ball, Cristiane shot, Letícia saved, and Jucinara took advantage of the rebound: 2-0.

Red Bull Bragantino pulled one back through Camila Ambrózio, but it didn't change the course of the match or Bragantino's dominance. In the 31st minute, Jucinara took a shot and almost scored again. Shortly after, Cristiane received the ball at the edge of the area and her shot grazed the post. After the hydration break, Celso Silva's team only threatened again in the final stages, and in the 45th minute, Monalisa crossed the ball and Layza Cavalcanti scored her first goal for the club with a beautiful header: 3-1.

Returning for the second half, those who went to Luso Brasileiro saw a team extremely committed to defending and, above all, leaving everything on the field for the victory. Even with the advantage, Flamengo continued to create numerous opportunities and dominate. At 11', Jucinara took a shot and the ball went close. In the following minute, Cristiane shook the net, but the referee signaled offside. "Mamãe" (Cristiane's nickname) didn't give up on scoring and, at 15', took advantage of an impeccable cross from Jucinara to turn the victory into a rout: 4-1.

Even with a large deficit, the team maintained its concentration and didn't let the pace drop, having good chances with Mariana, Monalisa, and Laysa, but without success. In stoppage time, the opponent reduced the deficit again. This time, Rafa Mineira scored. Before the final whistle, there was still time for a beautiful play by Anna Luiza. The number 35 shirt player burst into the area at speed and hit the crossbar. It was the final act of an excellent and convincing victory for Flamengo.
