On Saturday afternoon (4), Flamengo achieved another excellent victory in the Campeonato Carioca Feminino. Playing at home, Rubro-Negro thrashed Resende 20-0 - with five from Mariana and four from Leidiane - and took the lead in the competition. 

The game

Rosana Augusto's team opened the scoring in the first minute. Ana Laura took a corner kick, Laysa won the challenge, and passed it to Barraca, who found the back of the net. In the 6th minute, Mariana capitalized on Vitória Almeida's cross to extend the lead. The third came with a shot from outside the box from midfielder Thaisa. All of this before the tenth minute. 

In the 18th minute, Mariana set Vitória Almeida up, and the striker made no mistake. In the 23rd minute, the number 43—who had another inspired afternoon—disarmed the defender inside the box and struck powerfully: 5-0. The sixth came soon after with a beautiful long-range shot. In the 28th minute, Valéria Cantuário went to the baseline, the goalkeeper rebounded, and Vitória Almeida converted. Mariana scored the eighth, Barraca the ninth, and there was still time for Laysa to add hers. In stoppage time, Mariana scored the fifth, making the first half 11-0.

After the break, in the 6th minute, Ana Laura took a corner kick and Leidiane completed it: 12-0. In the 15th minute, Fernanda back-heeled the ball and Leidiane made no mistake. Minutes later, Letícia controlled the ball at the edge of the box and put it in the corner: 14-0.

After the technical break and a few changes, the team maintained its momentum and began scoring more goals. The first was a true masterpiece by Driely, who followed up with a bicycle kick: 15-0. In the 36th minute, Glaucia crossed, the goalkeeper rebounded, and Fernanda was there to secure the 16th. As the ball came out, Diovanna went to the baseline and crossed perfectly for Glaucia to tap in. In the final stretch, Fernanda scored the 18th and Leidiane sealed the rout with two more: 20-0.
