Having secured a spot in the Copa Rio Sub-20 final in advance, Flamengo secured another great victory in the competition on Saturday afternoon (24). Playing at CFZ, the Rubro-Negro thrashed Santa Cruz 5-0 in a match valid for the last round of the competition and secured the home advantage. The goals were scored by Maria Fernanda (2), Nicoli, Cecília and Dudinha.

The game

After a rather choppy start, Flamengo began to take control of the match after 20 minutes, and Duda Mattos even found the net, but the referee flagged for offside. The first goal came in the 23rd minute, with Maria Fernanda firing in a shot from the edge of the box. More chances were created, and in the 38th minute, Dudinha rolled the ball into the middle of the box and Nicoli fired it into the top corner: 2-0. Before halftime, Maria Fernanda scored again to extend the lead to 3-0.

In the second half, Filipe Torres made six changes, and the match remained under the command of "Mais Querido." Members of the 2010 generation, Duda Detori and Letícia Pinho, set the pace and commanded. Raika debuted well, and her dominance resulted in goals. In the 22nd minute, Laís lifted the ball to Cecília, who headed it in with style: 4-0. In the final stretch, Raika was brought down, and Dudinha skillfully converted the penalty and sealed the victory: 5-0.
