In another good performance to consolidate the good moment in the Brasileirão Feminino, the Meninas da Gávea thrashed Real Brasília 4-0 this Saturday (10), in Moça Bonita, in the 10th round of the national competition. Cristiane (twice), Fernanda and Louvain scored for the Meninas da Gávea, who rose to sixth place in the classification table. 

The game
The match began with Flamengo dominating possession, exchanging passes in the attacking half. In the eighth minute, Djeni took a shot, but the goalkeeper made a save. Flamengo had a great chance in the 18th minute. Real Brasília's defense made a poor clearance in the box, and the ball fell to Cristiane, who backheeled it, but Tainá jumped to the corner and saved. 

Then, the Meninas da Gávea threatened again. After a ball was lofted into the box, the defense cleared it, and the ball fell to Glaucia, who controlled it and shot from the edge of the penalty area. The ball sailed just wide of the crossbar. After so much persistence, Mengão opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. Djeni challenged the goalkeeper, kept the ball, and crossed into the six-yard box for Cristiane to head home: 1-0. 

The first half continued with Flamengo dominating the attack. In the 37th minute, Glaucia found a good pass to Fernanda, who controlled it and shot firmly. Tainá saved it with her foot. Three minutes later, the Meninas da Gávea extended their lead. Fernanda received the ball on the right, entered the box, and attempted a cross. The ball deflected off the defense, flew over the goalkeeper, and ended up in the net: 2-0. The red-and-blacks went into halftime in control of the match. 

At the start of the second half, the intensity of the game dropped a bit, but Flamengo continued to control the action. In the 19th minute, the red-and-blacks scored the third with a stunning goal! Louvain, who had just come on, hit a rare shot from outside the box, lobbing it over the opposing goalkeeper: 3-0. 

With a three-point lead, the Meninas da Gávea had even more time to work their moves. The fourth goal came naturally in the 32nd minute, again thanks to Cris! Number 11 controlled the ball inside the box and unleashed a powerful shot that bulged the net, scoring her second goal of the match: 4-0. 

In the final minutes, the red-black team valued possession of the ball and waited for the final whistle to leave the field with three more points, rising to sixth place in the Brasileirão Feminino with 17 points.
