In the debut of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship, Flamengo thrashed UDA-AL 6-0 on Thursday afternoon (8), in Gávea. Duda Rodrigues (3), Mariana, Gica and Pimenta scored the goals in the great red-black victory. Mengão is in Group C of the competition alongside Fluminense-RJ, Fortaleza-CE, Cuiabá-MT and Jc Futebol Clube-AM.

The game
Flamengo started the match looking to attack, and after just seven minutes, they opened the scoring. Mariana delivered a good pass to Duda Rodrigues inside the box, the number 11 controlled it and fired it into the corner past the goalkeeper: 1-0.

Three minutes later, Mengão extended their lead! Letícia drove through midfield and passed to Mariana. The red-and-black captain tried to control the ball, but the ball hit her and went into the corner: 2-0. The Mais Querido dominated the action and went into halftime with the advantage.

The fifth goal for the red-and-black team came in the 38th minute. Ana Papel attempted a shot, but the defender misjudged it, and the ball ended up at the feet of Pimenta, who subtly tapped it into the net: 5-0. In stoppage time, Mengão still had time to score the sixth. Duda Rodrigues pounced on the loose ball in the six-yard box and slotted it home, marking his hat trick of the match: 6-0. The match ended with a rout in the competition's debut.
