The game
Less than a minute into the match, Corinthians opened the scoring with Adriana, who capitalized on a rebound inside the box to make it 0-1. After the goal, the São Paulo team continued to dominate possession and dominate the attacking half, while Flamengo struggled to get the ball out of the box. The rain-soaked pitch also hampered passing.
