Flamengo fights until the end, but draws with Botafogo and ends its participation in the Under-20 State Championship
The girls from Gávea were in the lead, but suffered a draw and were left out of the tournament final.

On Saturday afternoon (01), Flamengo drew 2-2 with Botafogo, in Gávea, in the second leg of the semi-final of the U-20 Women's Carioca Championship. With the result, the girls say goodbye to the competition.
Flamengo had lost the first leg 1-0 away from home. The Mais Querido needed a simple victory at Gávea, having the advantage of a draw on aggregate. The girls took the lead and even went 2-0 up, but Botafogo equalized in the first half. The red-and-black team battled until the end, but four goals in the first half sealed the victory.
The game
Needing a result, Flamengo started on the attack. And it didn't take long for the girls to open the scoring. In the 7th minute, Kaylaine Júnior took a masterful free kick from the right, Pimenta rose and headed the ball toward goal. The ball hit the goalkeeper, kissed the crossbar, and ended up in the back of the net: 1-0.
Botafogo then went deep, and the opposing forward was brought down in the box. The referee awarded the penalty. Louvain's shot was saved by Botafogo goalkeeper Isa Cruz, who also grabbed the rebound. The score stood.
In the 19th minute, Flamengo scored again. Duda Rodrigues played a one-two with Cris, who crossed for a well-positioned Pimenta to score her second goal of the match: 2-0.
The match remained evenly matched, with Mais Querido creating chances to extend the lead. But in the 35th minute, Botafogo pulled one back through Rangel. And in the final stretch of the first half, after a back-and-forth in the box, Botafogo equalized through Nalon: 2-2. The teams carried the partial tie into halftime.
Coming back into the second half, Flamengo found themselves in the same predicament as at the start of the game and went in search of the winning goal. The girls battled until the end, but four goals in the first half sealed the final score.
