With the Brazilian Championship in mind, which will begin at the end of April, the Meninas da Gávea welcomed four more players to the squad, all from the defensive sector: twins Stefane (goalkeeper) and Andressa (defender) Pereira, Kemelli Trugilho (goalkeeper) and Raquel Maisa (left back).

Sisters Stefane and Andressa, goalkeeper and defender, played for Team Chicago (RJ) and Vitória (PE) before joining Flamengo. Frequently called up to the Brazilian youth national teams, the twins recently won the South American Under-20 Championship. Last season, they competed in the Brazilian Championship and the Pernambuco Championship, finishing second. Previously, Andressa won the championship with Orlando City (USA).

Also reinforcing the red-and-black goalkeeper's line-up is South American U-20 champion and starting goalkeeper Kemelli Trugilho. Having played for Iranduba and 3B, both in Amazonas, the goalkeeper is a native of Petrópolis and also played for Concórdia and Criciúma.

Rounding out the roster is 21-year-old left-back Raquel Maisa, who also played for the U-20 national team. She previously played for Francana, where she began her career, Vasco da Gama, and Ferroviária, playing in the Campeonato Paulista and the Campeonato Brasileiro last year.
