This Thursday (11), Flamengo/Marinha went to Parque São Jorge to face Corinthians in a game valid for the semi-final of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship A-1. Despite the victory in the first leg and the effort away from home, the red-blacks ended up defeated by 4 to 2 and say goodbye to the competition.
The opposing team opened the scoring in the first half. In the second half, the black and whites extended their lead early on, but Flamengo rallied and equalized with goals from Ju and Fernanda. However, in the final stretch of the match, Corinthians scored twice, the last from a penalty kick, and won 4-2.
Mais Querido's next challenge will be on Sunday (14), at 9 am, against Duque de Caxias. The match is valid for the Campeonato Carioca and will be played at CEFAN.
