Flamengo/Marinha fights until the end and draws with Audax in Osasco

Rubro-negras scored with Carol and Bárbara in the second half

On the afternoon of this Thursday (31), Flamengo/Marinha went to the José Liberatti stadium, in Osasco, to face Audax in another round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. With a reaction in the second half, the red-blacks managed to draw and left with a 2-2 draw. The goals were scored by Carol and Bárbara.

With this result, Mais Querido remains in third place with eight points. They have won two, drawn two, and lost one of their five matches.

The game
In the first half, the Meninas da Gávea team struggled to create any real impact. With their chances created, Audax came out strong and threatened Kaká's goal on several occasions throughout the first 45 minutes. Flamengo/Marinha counterattacked, mainly through Flávia and Bárbara, but failed to convert any significant chances. On the other hand, however, their opponents managed two shots, scored goals, and went into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, the situation changed. Flamengo pressed the entire half and scored just two minutes in, with Carol heading in a corner kick from the right. With excellent chances and a strong will, Flamengo dominated, suffocating Audax and preventing their opponents from getting many shots on goal. In the 2th minute, Bárbara took advantage of a loose ball from Larissa, tapping the ball into the back of the net, and leveling the score. At the end of the match, the Meninas da Gávea earned another point with a 36-2 draw.

Flamengo returns to Rio de Janeiro and faces Portuguesa-SP, at 15 pm, on Wednesday (6). The teams duel in Gávea in another game of the Brazilian Championship.
