Flamengo/Marinha dominates and thrashes Portuguesa in the Luso Brasileiro
Larissa scored twice; Dany Helena and Pâmela also scored to close out the scoring.
By Mariana Sa - inAnother victorious afternoon for Flamengo/Marinha. This Saturday (20), the red-blacks went to the Luso Brasileiro stadium for the duel against Portuguesa-RJ. Dominating from start to finish, the Meninas da Gávea won 4-0 and remain undefeated in the Rio de Janeiro Women's Football Championship. The goals were scored by Larissa (twice), Pâmela and Dany Helena.
The red-and-blacks started applying intense pressure from the opening minutes. In the 4th minute, Pâmela received the ball up front and fired a well-placed shot into the back of the net. Following the same rhythm, it wasn't long before Larissa, in the 14th minute, won the ball in the box to finish and make it 2-0.

Before halftime, Flamengo managed to score one more. The captain once again arrived well on the play, received the ball, turned, and beat the goalkeeper, completing the score at 3-0.
Slowing down, Mengo continued to force Portuguesa's defense, creating limited space for their opponents to attack. With the team changing during the second half, the Meninas da Gávea still managed to extend their lead through Dany Helena, who in the 28th minute received a beautiful pass from Aryane to score with a header. The score remained 4-0 until the final whistle.
With the result, Fla has three wins in three games in the State Championship. The next challenge, valid for the penultimate round of the first phase, will be on Saturday (27), at 15 pm, against Liga de Arraial do Cabo/ACCEL FC, at CEFAN.
