In a game valid for the eighth round of the Brazilian Women's Championship, Flamengo/Marinha drew with Ferroviária 1-1 on Wednesday afternoon (09), at the Gávea stadium. Cida scored the red-black goal at 47' of the second half.

O JOGO

The first half began with the Meninas da Gávea team maintaining possession in the attacking half. When Ferroviária tried to push forward, they encountered the strong red-and-black defense, which managed to intercept their plays. In the 22nd minute, Rafa Barros received the ball from Ana Carla and shot, but the ball hit the defense. The match was fiercely contested in midfield, with a fierce battle for possession. Despite efforts from both teams, the first half ended 0-0.

Early in the second half, in the 9th minute, Ferroviária opened the scoring with striker Sochor, who received the ball up front and slotted it past goalkeeper Kaká. In the 15th minute, Flamengo threatened. Rafa Barros came down the left, cut inside, and took a shot. The ball hit the crossbar. Flamengo nearly equalized in the 30th minute. Rafa Barros crossed from the left and Aryane finished, but Ferroviária's goalkeeper jumped into the corner to prevent the goal. After so much persistence, Flamengo equalized late on! In the 47th minute, Debora Sorriso crossed into the box and defender Cida rose to the second floor to head home: 1-1.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Sunday (13) to face Cruzeiro, at 15 pm, at the Gávea stadium. The game is valid for the ninth round of the Brasileirão Feminino.
