Flamengo/Marinha faces Greminho in the third round of the Women's Carioca

With a 100% record, Meninas da Gávea play another home game in the competition

After another thrashing in the State Championship (10-0 over Campo Grande), Flamengo/Marinha will take to the field to face Greminho, this Saturday morning (28), at 10 am, at CEFAN. As usual, fans will be able to access the stadium for free. 

With a record of thirteen wins, three draws and five defeats this season, Rubro-Negro has scored 73 goals so far and conceded 14. Larissa and Raiza (11 goals) are the team's top scorers, followed by Samhia and Flavia (8). 

Midfielder Patrícia revealed that she is proud of the team and said that the main objective is to continue winning: 

"We have another opportunity to do what we love, representing Flamengo, and we're going all out. I expect a lot of dedication, camaraderie, and hard work from the entire group. We're helping each other a lot, and that's essential for things to work out. Our focus is on getting three more points in the championship against Grêmio."

Dispute format

Thirty teams are divided into six groups of five. The top two from each advance to the second phase, where another division takes place: three groups of four. In this scenario, the top three advance, along with the second-best overall team. The third phase will be the semifinals, on October 27th and November 3rd. Those who qualify will play the final, again with a home-and-away match, on November 10th and 17th.
