Flamengo/Marinha wins 19-0 in the Brasileirinho and takes the lead in the second phase of the Carioca
With six goals from Flavia, Meninas da Gávea further consolidate their position at the top of the championship

In a very inspired morning, Flamengo/Marinha won once again in the Women's Carioca Championship. In the opening of the second phase, in a match held at CEFAN, the Girls from Gávea won 19-0 in the Brasileirinho, with goals from Flavia (6), Rafaela Barros (5), Samhia (4), Raiza (2), Aryane (1) and Patrícia (1).
O JOGO
With a blistering pace, the Red-Blacks opened the scoring in the seventh minute. Rafaela Barros crossed and Raiza finished into the net. Soon after, Rafa scored twice in a short space of time. After the technical timeout, Camila took a corner kick that was headed by Flavia, who scored the fourth. In the final ten minutes, the team went on the attack and scored four more: two by Rafa, one by Raiza, and another by Aryane, on the final play (7-8).
In the second half, Flavia scored two stunning early goals to extend the lead. Samhia then capitalized on two opportunities to extend the lead. In the 34th minute, Flavia skillfully converted a penalty kick, beating the goalkeeper, to make it 13. In the dying minutes, Rafaela Barros scored her fifth goal of the match, Patrícia hit a beautiful shot, and Samhia and Flavia each scored twice, making the final score 19-0.
