Flamengo/Marinha thrashes Colonia/Guapimirim and takes a big step towards the Carioca semifinals
With four from Lu Meireles, Meninas da Gávea win 12-0 and get closer to the decisive phase

Flamengo/Marinha is very close to qualifying for the semifinal stage of the Campeonato Carioca Feminino. On the morning of this Wednesday (16), the Meninas da Gávea took a very important step by beating Colonia/Guapimirim, 12-0, at CEFAN. The goals were scored by Lu Meireles (4), Aryane (3), Samhia (3), Maria Peck and Mila.

The opposing team managed to withstand the red-and-black pressure for fifteen minutes, until Maria Peck provided a beautiful assist for Lu Meireles to open the scoring. In the next play, the number 4 extended the lead with a shot from outside the box. Aryane, the standout performer of the match, scored the third and fourth. Before the final whistle, Bruna Rosa lined up on the right and crossed perfectly for Mila to tap in past the goalkeeper: 5-0.
After the break, Lu Meireles scored a stunning goal. And it didn't stop there. Seconds later, the forward stole the ball from the goalkeeper and scored her fourth goal of the match. Ten minutes in, Aryane added the eighth after receiving a good pass from Peck. The debutant of the day also made her mark. To top it off, Samhia scored a hat trick and sealed another excellent victory: 12-0.
