This Saturday (27), the Flamengo/Marinha girls took to the field in the morning and beat the Arraial do Cabo League/ACCEL FC 14-0 at CEFAN for the Rio de Janeiro Women's Football Championship. With the result, the red-blacks take the overall lead in the competition. The goals were scored by Larissa (four times), Flávia (twice), Karen, Fernanda, Raíza, Daiana, Camila, Pâmela, Andressa and one own goal.
In the first half, Flamengo played better and managed to get forward quite a bit, without suffering any defensive scares. Despite scoring four goals through Fernanda, Larissa, Karen, and Raiza, the Meninas da Gávea were not satisfied with the attacking errors that could have settled the match earlier and sought to correct them at halftime. The score was 4-0.
The final stage, however, was overwhelming. Scoring goal after goal, Flamengo managed to extend their lead considerably with three goals from Larissa, two from Flávia, and one each from Camila, Daiana, and Andressa. Furthermore, there was an own goal to complete the 14-0 rout.
Closing the first phase of the Carioca Feminino, Flamengo/Marinha goes to the Rio Bonito AC Stadium to face the Riobonitense Sports League/Bonitão next Saturday (3), at 15 pm.
