Flamengo/Marinha loses to Rio Preto in the Women's Brazilian Championship

By Flamengo Communication - inThis Wednesday (8), Flamengo/Marinha went to São José do Rio Preto to face Rio Preto in another round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship A-1. Despite the attempts, the red-blacks ended up defeated 3-1 at Anísio Haddad. Flávia scored the goal for the Girls from Gávea.
The opponents opened the scoring in the first half, scoring in the 20th, 25th, and 32nd minutes, taking a 3-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Mengo responded with a goal from Flávia in the 5th minute, but were unable to close the gap and ended up losing 3-1.
With the result, Fla remains in second place with seven wins, three draws and two losses in twelve games. The next challenge will be on Wednesday (15), at 15 pm, against Ponte Preta. The match will be held at the Nelo Bracalente Stadium, in Vinhedo (SP).
