Flamengo/Marinha hosts Arraial do Cabo League at CEFAN

This Saturday (27), Flamengo/Marinha will have another challenge in the Rio de Janeiro Women's Football Championship. At CEFAN, at 10 am, the Meninas da Gávea face Liga de Arraial do Cabo/ACCEL FC in the penultimate round of the first phase of the competition. The red-blacks are undefeated in the tournament with four positive results in four duels.
Flamengo has won four matches in the competition. In the first round, they defeated Liga Rio das Ostras by a 3-0 loss. Then, Flamengo hosted Duque de Caxias at CEFAN and won comfortably, winning 4-0. The last match saw another positive result, beating Portuguesa XNUMX-XNUMX.

The Arraial do Cabo League/ACCEL FC has had a mixed campaign. In its opening match, the team suffered a 9-0 defeat against Brasileirinho/Corte 8. This was followed by another 9-0 defeat, this time against Vasco da Gama at home. The third round saw a 10-0 rout in Jacarepaguá, followed by a 3-0 defeat against Búzios.

Dispute system

The four top-ranked teams in each group advance to the second round. The matches will be single-leg matches, and the home team will be the team with the best record.
