This Wednesday (11), Flamengo/Marinha went to the municipality of Chã Grande, in Pernambuco, and visited Vitória at the Barbosão stadium. With great collective strength and good individual plays, Rubro-Negro won 4-1 and continues its great moment in the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. The goals were scored by Flávia, Bárbara, Jane and Dany Helena. Goalkeeper Kaká also saved a penalty in the final stage.

With this result, Meninas da Gávea remains in second place in Group 2, with 21 points in nine games played, with five wins, three draws and one defeat.

The match started off tough and difficult for the red-and-blacks. Just like in the match played in Gávea, the teams studied each other closely and sought out gaps in the opposing defenses, but created little in the opening minutes. The best chances fell to Flamengo/Marinha, who opened the scoring after much persistence. In the 35th minute, Rayanne took a corner kick from the right, which Dany Helena headed, but she deflected it and was cleared by the defense. Flávia then capitalized on the rebound and scored the first, taking the lead to 1-0 at halftime.

In the second half, Flamengo came out swinging, scoring their second goal of the afternoon in the 5th minute. Fernanda cut in well on the right, evaded her marker, and sent a shot into the box. Larissa attempted a shot, but the defense cleared it. Bárbara then appeared on the rebound and sent a powerful shot into the back of the net. Shortly after, Jane extended the lead after receiving a great pass, making an individual play, and hitting a beautiful side-kick.

In the 13th minute, Vitória had the chance to score. Infiltrating the red-and-black box, the opposing player was brought down, and the Pernambuco team won a penalty. However, Kaká was on the other side, making a great save with his feet, preventing the goal.

In the closing stages of the match, Ju found Dany Helena alone in the box and crossed. The smart number 27 rose well to head the ball in and score Mengo's fourth goal in the 28th minute. Vitória still managed to reduce the deficit, but nothing that shook the Meninas da Gávea: 4-1.

Flamengo/Marinha's next challenge will be on Tuesday (17), at 15 pm, when they host Foz Cataratas at the Gávea stadium. The match is valid for the Brasileirão Feminino.
