Flamengo/Marinha beat Iranduba 3-1 away from home

Flamengo/Marinha started the match looking to attack and quickly opened the scoring. In the 9th minute, Iranduba's defense retreated and saw Rafa Barros tap the ball into the back of the net: 1-0. After the goal, the Meninas da Gávea continued to press their opponents and scored the second. Flávia received the ball at speed and tapped it past goalkeeper Yessica to increase the red-and-black lead: 2-0.
In the 25th minute, Iranduba created a dangerous situation. Preta sent a pass up front to Brenda, but when she tried to set up a shot, the red-and-black defense managed to clear it. The next play, after a corner, the ball fell to Rafa Barros, who fired a shot straight at the defense. In the 38th minute, Flávia again received the ball unmarked up front and took a shot, but goalkeeper Yessica saved it. The first half ended with Mengão ahead.
The Girls from Gávea returned with the same intensity for the second half. In the first minute, Rafa Barros exchanged passes with Raquel, received the ball in the box, and fired a powerful shot. Goalkeeper Yessica saved. In the 11th minute, the Mais Querido extended their lead! After a corner, the ball went wide, and Cida headed it into the far post: 3-0. On the next play, Iranduba pulled one back. Paulinha controlled a ball into the box and spun on a bicycle kick to score: 3-1.
In the 35th minute, after a free kick from Ana Carla, defender Cida nearly scored the fourth goal for the red-and-blacks. For the rest of the match, the Red-and-Blacks controlled the action and left the field with the victory.

Flamengo/Marinha returns to the field next Wednesday (09) to face Ferroviária, at 15 pm, in Gávea.
