Flamengo participates in the Brazilian Women's Draft

Mais Querido signs two midfielders

By - in
This week, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) held the second edition of the Brazilian Women's Championship Draft at the Brazilian National Team Museum in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Fourteen players from the "Amarelinha" team were assigned to the eight clubs that qualified for the second phase of the competition.

Flamengo/Marinha, through a lottery, was able to draft two athletes. The representative of the Mais Querido was coach Lieutenant Ricardo Abrantes, who opted for two midfielders: Maurine and Bia.

Maurine had already been drafted to represent Flamengo/Marinha in the first edition of the event in 2015 and Bia arrived to make up the squad for this season.
