Flamengo loses to Corinthians 4-0 in the women's Brasileirão
The Meninas da Gávea return to the field next Monday to host Internacional, in Gávea, for the last round of the qualifying phase of the competition.

In the closing game of the penultimate round of the Brasileirão Feminino, the Meninas da Gávea were defeated by Corinthians, 4-0. The match held at Parque São Jorge, at 20 pm this Monday, featured a Flamengo that fought until the end, but was unable to avoid the defeat away from home.
With the result, Mais Querido closes the round in sixth place in the tournament, with 28 points.
The game
The match began with both teams fighting for the ball in midfield, failing to create any real scoring chances. In the 8th minute, Bárbara made two incredible saves in quick succession to keep the score at 18-1. In the 0th minute, Corinthians scored their first through Gabi Portillo, making it XNUMX-XNUMX. In the final stretch of the first half, the girls created a dangerous effort, but were stopped by the opposing goalkeeper.
At halftime, coach Luis Andrade made the first change to the team: Cris came on for Nath Pitbull. Flamengo fought hard but struggled to keep the ball in their attacking half. In the 33rd minute of the second half, Corinthians extended their lead with a Duda Sampaio goal, making it 2-0. Gica, Laysa, Gisseli, and Leidiane completed the changes for the "Mais Querido." In the 38th and 43rd minutes, Isabela sealed the match's 4-0 lead.

The Girls from Gávea return to the field next Monday (12) to host Internacional, in Gávea, at 15 pm, for the last round of the qualifying phase of the Brasileirão Feminino.
